I have an XAMPP local server at the office, I use notepad for HTML but also tend to use a lot of Dreamweaver in code view simply because i can see the site structure and related files. Photoshop for graphics, Chrome, IE, Safari and Firefox for testing the sites as much as possible.
When starting a new project how do you start?
I have a meeting or two with the client to understand their needs and requirements explaining along the way how much is possible and manage their expectations.
