Reflective Text
Ok in this tutorial we are going to cover making reflective text in photoshop.
The first step is to write out a line of text I have went with WebDesignerHelp. Step two is to duplicate the layer, to do this you can right click on the text layer and select duplicate layer or press CTRL + J (PC) or CMD + J (Mac).
The third step is to flip the second layer vertically by pressing CTRL + T (PC) or CMD + T (Mac) to select transform mode and then right click and select flip vertically.
Your document should now look like the one below but with your chosen text.
The next step is to add a layer mask to your copied layer to do this selct the layer mask button located at the bottom of the layers pane, see image below.
The next step is to chose the gradient fill tool shown below.
Now you need to click and drag up keep playing with this until you have your desired effect my finished reflective text is shown below.
This tutorial can be used for other things, why not experiment.
