In this tutorial we are going to show you how to create a custom 404 page for your website. A 404 page is the error page which comes up when a user tries to go to a page which doesn’t exist on the server, this can happen when someone a link to your site is outdated i.e. you have removed that page.

The Web Design Championship, first of all let me explain what it is. It is a voting based tournament where 32 web designer’s submit a site they have created (preferably their portfolio).
They are then split into 4 groups of 8, and the top two from each group going through to a semi final which is 2 groups of 4. The top 2 from each of these then go through to a final showdown, with the winner taking the home £25 first place prize.
I small a prize I know but hopefully it’s a nice reward for the winner.
